In the 2025/26 academic year, the MATFIN Foundation launched its network of extracurricular study groups and its Olympiad training programme in mathematics, physics and informatics, with support from the National Research, Development and Innovation Office. The experience gained during the initial pilot year, participation figures for the study groups offered to students in Grades 9–10, and outstanding results at international science olympiads all demonstrated the value and relevance of these programmes. As a result, from September 2026, MATFIN’s network of extracurricular study groups will expand to include chemistry and artificial intelligence, while its Olympiad training programme will be extended to biology, chemistry and artificial intelligence.
